Kompas Camp season 2012 is over. I took part at two camps this summer and visited one Fusion camp. I can tell you that we/Kompas staff experienced blessed but not easy summer.
FUSION (rock-pop-art-drama) Camps were organized by Banska Bystrica – Cirkev Bratska (CB) church and Viera Baptist church Bratislava for the first time in Slovakia.
One of the Fusion camp participant said:
“This week was the most important week in my life. If I would not be here I would be eternally lost”

My Colleague’ wife and their kids had serious accident
Unfortunately Kim Shepperson and her two kids Gwyneth and Hampton had serious car accident on the way to (Roznava AC) camp. Two helicopters and one ambulance had to take them to three various hospitals in Slovakia – Banska Bystrica, Poprad and Kosice. But the Lord is good, He saved their life. All of them are at home now (Zilina), recovering but Kim is still in pain. Can you pray for their health and financial situation please?

At Stara Tura camp
2 girls and 2 boys committed their life to Jesus before the end of the camp. The same happened at Zilina’s (my church) camp.
God touched Lukas through prodigal son story. Although his mom is believer, Lukas lived wild life style. Here is Lukas’ story/video from after KECY camp party

Daniela’s best friend
from the past – Emilly Jones spent few weeks with our family. It was great time for all of us. Emilly helped with English as well as she was involved in fun part of the camp – camp’s interviews. Have a look http://www.tckompas.sk/hrubo/index.php/video_sk
10 KECY camps were organized alongside with local churches
English still works pretty well. I love to talk to non-church students.
Filip (picture above) is one of them, he was against the Christians but usually it is just the matter of the time…
Thank you for partnering with us
